Kunstwest

In collaboration with artist Jasper Banen I founded Stichting Kunstwest in 2010. Stichting Kunstwest is a foundation with a sole purpose to connect people in the suburban area of Amsterdam Nieuw-West by means of creativity.

The numerous projects we initiated helped to improve the neighbourhood and activate people to become more creative in solving the personal and social challenges they encounter.

With the organisation of art markets, running an art space, opening a gallery, teaching art classes and producing community art projects we are expanding our activities throughout Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
